St. Joseph’s Center is a sponsored mission of the Congregation of Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Joseph’s Center strives to be a sign of hope to individuals and families who have special needs. Beginning as an orphanage back in 1888, St. Joseph’s has evolved, in response to changing needs, into a multifaceted service provider.

St. Joseph’s serves hundreds of people throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania on a daily basis through pregnancy, family and adoption services; outpatient therapy; and extensive residential and community-based programs for children and adults diagnosed with mental retardation.
