Shipments weighing 20,000 lbs or more or shipments subject to the Minimum Charge Capacity Load rule will be subject to the truckload fuel surcharge.

LTL - When the DOE fuel Index exceeds $3.00 per gallon, the fuel surcharge continues to increase 1% for every ten-cent increase in fuel prices.

TL - When the DOE fuel Index exceeds $3.00 per gallon, the fuel surcharge continues to increase 2% for every ten-cent increase in fuel prices.

For purposes of calculating fuel surcharge, TL is defined as any shipment weighing 20,000 pounds or occupying 20 linear feet or more.
