According to TheCalifornian.com, Gabriel Saldana, owner of the Salinas trucking company GS Transport, has been arrested on five million dollars bail after he threatened to kill several people.
Reports state that after punching his wife in the head, Saldana restricted her by the neck and put a gun to her temple, forcing her to write a letter to the man Saldana believed her to be having an affair with, the site notes.
Saldana planned for his wife to tell her “lover” to meet her at a precise location, in which he would then kill him as well as himself.
In the ruckus, one of their daughters entered the house, where Saldana endangered all of their lives if anyone was made aware of what was happening; however, the daughter managed to alert her sister via text to call 911, the article further explains.
