money.

We can tell you one thing, with Road Scholar Transport’s trustworthy, dedicated employees it isn’t our staff making the papers.  Covenant Transport, a trucking company located in Chatanooga, however isn’t as lucky.

According to The Chatanoogan.com, Covenant Transport’s former employee, Loretta Blevins, had the duty of issuing “ComData” cards (otherwise known as company debit cards) to employees, which were to be used on business expenses.

Blevins admitted to using the cards for her own personal use for a sixteen month period (June 2007 to October 2008), stopping when she was fired, the site notes.

Blevins embezzled more than $600,000, as she withdrew money while on vacation in Florida, as well as in Tennessee and Georgia.

So what did she do with all of the money?  According to Blevins, she spent the money on food as well as gave a portion of it to another co-worker (http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_186327.asp).

Must have been Thanksgiving every night in that house!
